Last night, Travis McCarthy, Neier's Environmental Services Manager, accepted the 2025 Fletcher York Community Service Award from the Danville Police Department on behalf of Neier, Inc.
DPD stated, "The Fletcher York Community Service Award was established in 2020 in honor of Fletcher York, whose legacy reflects a strong commitment to charity and community service within the Danville community. This award is presented annually to an individual or organization that has demonstrated meaningful collaboration with and support for the Danville Police Department in furtherance of our mission to promote a safe and welcoming community.
The 2025 Fletcher York Community Service Award is presented to Neier Incorporated. Founded in 1989 by Richard and Lisa Neier, the company began operations in Coatesville, Indiana. Although Neier Incorporated has since expanded and relocated its operations to Indianapolis, the Neier family and their organization have maintained strong and lasting ties to Hendricks County and the Town of Danville.
Neier Incorporated has consistently shown an unwavering commitment to community involvement. Their support includes sponsorship of numerous youth sports teams, participation in the Danville Police Department's National Night Out events and continued backing of the Shop with a Cop program. Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Neier Incorporated provided invaluable assistance to the Danville Fire and Police Departments by helping to locate and secure critical safety equipment during a time of significant need.
We would again like to thank the Neier family and Neier Incorporated for their ongoing dedication and support of our department and community."

The idea that people “have a choice” is one of the system’s most effective lies. A real choice requires the ability to say “no” without punishment. The system does not allow that. It only allows two options: comply or suffer. That is not choice. That is coercion disguised as choice. Every time someone attempts to exercise a genuine “no” — by refusing to register their child, refusing to pay certain taxes, refusing to obtain a license, or refusing to surrender their children to state control — the system does not respond with debate or reason. It responds with direct, physical force. This consistent pattern proves that the option to withdraw was never real. The logic is inescapable: If the system truly respected free choice, it would allow people to peacefully exit. If the system truly respected free choice, it would not need to threaten violence to maintain participation. If the system truly respected free choice, it would not need to destroy the lives of those who try to live differently. The fact that it does all three of these things shows that “choice” is a rhetorical device, not a reality. The language of choice is deployed specifically to make the coercion feel voluntary. It shifts the blame from the system to the individual: “You chose this,” when the truth is that the system made any other option extremely costly and dangerous. This is why the phrase “you have a choice” is not just wrong — it is actively deceptive. It is used to maintain the illusion of legitimacy while the underlying mechanism remains pure force. The system does not persuade people to stay. It punishes them for trying to leave. Therefore, claiming people are freely choosing the system is not an argument in its favor. It is proof of its illegitimacy. The entire structure rests on the threat of violence, not the consent of the governed. Once that is understood, the language of “choice” collapses under its own weight. It is not a description of reality. It is a tool used to hide reality.
